From May 5 to 9, 2025, the Aviation Personnel Training School of the "Türkmenhowaýollary" Agency hosted training courses on civil aviation security organized by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) as part of the implementation of the "Civil Aviation Security in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (CASE II)" project. Four International Certificates Issued to the New Airport in Balkanabat
On May 2, a ceremony was held to mark the opening of the Balkanabat International Airport, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
